HIGHLIGHTS
Hello Subscriber, thank you for subscribing to our weekly e-newsletters! Here's the latest news about CUIMC Wellness:

Sign Up for Virtual Study Spaces Organized by CSW
As you prepare for finals and the end of the semester, CSW would like to support your distance learning by offering Virtual Study Spaces. Are you looking for a way to study or work in groups without a 40-minute Zoom meeting limit? Virtual Study Spaces will allow you access to video conferencing tools, discussion boards, and file-sharing. CUIMC students from all schools and programs can create a collaborative study space—you are not limited by your coursework or enrollment. To request a study space, please complete the CSW Virtual Study Space Request Form and a CSW team member will be in touch with you. We appreciate your patience as we pilot this new feature!

AIMS (Addiction Information + Management Strategies) is Here to Support You
During moments of increased anxiety, students may experience a shift in their substance use patterns. AIMS continues to be available virtually for students who would like to have strategy-based and harm-reduction-centered conversations about safer substance use. Email aims@cumc.columbia.edu with questions or to schedule an appointment.

Virtual Wellness Appointments
As finals approach and adjustments to distance learning continue, our team can provide a solution-based approach to address personal, academic, and professional concerns. Set up an individual Wellness Appointment by sending an email to
studentwellness@cumc.columbia.edu.
Stay Informed About COVID-19
For questions about COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) we encourage you to check your CUIMC emails for the most up-to-date information from your schools, programs, and CUIMC Leadership as policies and guidance evolve. Resources are also shared on the Coronavirus Resource Center website and the SHS COVID-19 Health Advisory page.

Join the COVID-19 Student Service Corps (CSSC) Mental Health and Wellbeing Committee
The COVID-19 Student Service Corps (CSSC) Mental Health and Wellbeing Committee is one way for us to come together and offer support in the midst of this pandemic. CSSC is a group of students, faculty, and staff who have been working to identify ways for us to support one another, those on the front lines, and those in our communities during this troubling and uncertain time. Connect with CSSC if you are interested in learning more about ways to contribute to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Committee. Email studentwellness@cumc.columbia.edu with questions.

Coping with the Stress of a Pandemic: A Mental Health Guide for CUIMC Students
Center for Student Wellness, in collaboration with Mental Health Services, has created a mental health guide to help support students during this time of new challenges, transition, and uncertainty. Coping with the Stress of a Pandemic: A Mental Health Guide can be found on the SHS webpage and can also be downloaded as an accessible PDF. We encourage you to take what is helpful and share widely with your colleagues. Please reach out to us with thoughts or questions.

As a reminder, Wellness Appointments are still available to students via phone. Please email studentwellness@cumc.columbia.edu to schedule an appointment. Students can also set up an appointment with a provider from Mental Health Services by making an appointment through the SHS health portal. Details about connecting to SHS are available on the CUIMC Student Health Service Operational Changes page.
