May 2020 Edition
I hope you are staying safe and well during the lockdown.

For me, sticking to a routine and keeping busy has been really helpful at this time.  My daughter and I go on a walk at 7.15 am every morning.  That way I can crack on with my work for the rest of the day and we don't run out of time to grab some fresh air.   During the evenings we have watched our fair share of family movies!

This month has been very busy for Organise Your House with interviews, the launch of my new Virtual Decluttering and Organising Service and creating new podcasts for the Declutter Hub.  Have a read and discover what I have been up to.

Guest expert on Mummy's Gin Fund!
I was so delighted to be a guest on the Mummy's Gin Fund Facebook Live session in April to talk about organising your wardrobe.
If you missed it you can watch it here.  I was interviewed by Helen Hamston the founder of the group and joined by BSL interpreters Karen and Jo.

5 top tips for keeping your desk organised

1. Keep your desk as clear as possible, just your technology and a few essentials.
2. Declutter and organise your desk drawers so you have everything to hand.
3. Create a tray system for your paperwork on your desk for action/filing.
4. Regularly clean your equipment - screen, mouse, laptop, printer.
5. Tidy your desk at the end of the day so you can start afresh the next morning.
Featured on the BBC!
I am delighted to be featured in the bbc.com article "How to work from home with your kids during Coronavirus".  If you are working from home right now, it's a really helpful read.  You will find my comments in the first article.
No motivation?
If you are struggling with decluttering at the moment but really want to find your motivation again, have a listen to Episode 81 of the Declutter Hub podcast.  Lesley and I talk about lockdown decluttering and how to set small goals and change your mindset to help you get going.
