Dear <<First Name>>

SPRING HAS SPRUNG! It's SO nice to sit outside during this fabulous Texas April weather: blue skies, a slight breeze, just enough heat and sunshine to chase away any cabin fever brought on by the Wuhan coronavirus.

How are y'all doing during this sequester?  It's really hard to believe that I've now been at home for 43 days straight. I suspect you're as frustrated as I am with not seeing actual flesh and blood people (versus Zoom meetings!).  God has truly blessed my life so I have no complaints. I'm enjoying keeping up with all things political.  In fact, sometimes I feel overwhelmed with the number of Zoom meetings!

Did you know LPRW is on YouTube?  Please visit us, watch a video or two, and subscribe.  The National Federation of Republican Women is on YouTube as well. Got a few minutes? Watch NFRW President Ann Schockett's Fast Forward videos

This week's event list:
One last reminder: May runoff elections have been moved to July 14. Precinct Chair for 2009 ended in a tie so LPRW Campaign Activities Chair Kathleen Caso faces a runoff election.  Those living in CD-17 (far NW corner of Bastrop County) will have a runoff to choose the Republican US House candidate.  All school elections in Bastrop County have been delayed to November 3.  See BastropVotes.org for information and details.

Here's to a great week ahead for you and your loved ones.

Carol A. Spencer
President
