Teaching online has presented the inspiration for a number of upgrades.

Get list of who did not participate in online learning during a selected date range. App located in Utilities under Site Auditor.
Students can now attest that they have viewed a video media element by clicking the "I watched this" button. Timestamp is saved. You can compare when the video was opened to when they clicked this to the length of the video.
Multiple-choice tasks now retain the highest score earned along with a record of all attempts.

I have been having very good results using the "proctor" system at the middle and high school level. I send parents a "proctor key" which they register and confirm. It allows them to unlock any locked test. I also make use of the feature that lets a test only open during certain times.
