Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) teams are racing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in more than 70 countries where we run programmes, while opening projects in new countries such as the United Kingdom and United States as they become pandemic hotspots.

East Africa: Racing to respond to COVID-19

Across East Africa, MSF teams are working hard to keep providing essential medical services, taking steps to keep patients and staff safe and launching new activities to respond directly to the outbreak.

We are concerned about the impact on people living in informal settlements like Kibera, refugee camps like Dadaab, or conflict affected areas such as South Sudan, as well as migrants detained, travelling or being deported in congested conditions.

Kenya: Adapting to COVID-19

MSF teams are working to adapt our medical programmes across Kenya to respond to COVID-19. One of our key priorities is to keep our existing medical programmes running for the patients and vulnerable communities we support; mothers will continue to give birth and people will still need emergency medical care during this outbreak.

COVID-19: MSF steps up response in Europe

Today, in Europe some of the most advanced health systems in the world are buckling under the pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic. To support the COVID-19 response in Europe, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has expanded activities in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, France, Norway, Greece and Belgium.
