Today's Daily Generosity Idea

We can help essential workers by providing them with items we are unable to use because we are working from home during the pandemic. Offer up your bus/train passes, Metro cards, other credits and supplies to those essential workers still reporting for duty to help face the crisis and keep communities running.

Whether it be a local firefighter, police officer, MTA employee, or delivery person, taking care of their every day travel expenses is extremely helpful.

See It In Action

A Brooklyn woman by the name of Elizabeth Adams created an online exchange to give unused Metro cards to essential coronavirus workers.

She created this Google Docs Spreadsheet to keep track of who was in need and who was willing to help. To read more about her amazing act of kindness click here.
