Like the early disciples in Acts 1:6, may we be open to let Jesus re-shape our 2020 hopes, plans, and dreams.

Wellspring Weekly News
Monday, April 27

Mahalo for sharing your time and space with us after service in Wellspring's first-ever "Talk Story" zoom time! We're still working out the kinks, so thank you for trying something new. For those of you who experienced some technical difficulties, thank you for your persistence and patience-- look what great character God is building in you through this! :) We'll be planning another of these in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned for more details.

This upcoming Sunday, May 3rd, is Communion Sunday and we will be celebrating the Lord's Supper during our Livestream worship time. Each of us will need to plan ahead so we can all take communion together. Please be sure to have some kind of starch available-- bread, crackers, or a cookie nearby (rice is OK too!) as well as a sweet drink of your choice.

As we continue to walk through this pandemic with hearts open to God and each other, feel free to check out the opportunities to gather below.

Two more things before you go--
  • First, here's an easy way to support Wellspring as you shop online. If you're anything like my family, you're probably buying more stuff online now. Robbie has added Wellspring to Amazon's list of charitable organizations, which means that each time you shop on AmazonSmile they will donate .5% of your eligible purchases to our church!
To take advantage of this next time you want to order something from Amazon, go to smile.amazon.com (you might want to add a bookmark there), search for Wellspring Covenant Church from the list of charitable organizations, and then shop away. (Note: amazonsmile is exactly the same thing as regular amazon, just with their charitable giving enabled). Feel free to follow up with Robbie if you have any questions.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for Pastor Rebecca on her amazon account (and yes, her first name is Joanna! Ha-- you've just gained some random trivia!)
  • Lastly, to increase our security during this time, Robbie is changing the code to get into the sanctuary-- if you want to drop anything off there, please text her to get the latest code. Thank you!
