We hope that you are all save and sound wherever you find yourself,
The entire world has been affected in such a terrible way and we hope that all our friends in the US, Mexico and Canada are hanging in there. You are in our prayers and we are thinking of everyone in this uncertain times.
South Africa has been on a National lockdown for the last month and it hasn't been easy. We are very fortunate to be able to live where we do and still enjoy the outdoors and open spaces.
From an Outfitter’s perspective we have been affected immensely with the possibility of not getting any more clients for 2020. A large number of Outfitters rely 100% on hunting and this will break many businesses in our industry. We are grateful to have our farming operation to keep us going in this difficult time and we will be ready when our next clients arrive.
On a positive note our lockdown restrictions are being lifted one step at a time. The South African Government has divided our lockdown into 5 stages and from the 1st of May we will be downgraded from stage 5 to stage 4. This will lift restrictions on our nation and more businesses will be allowed to open back up. This is a step in the right direction and hopefully we will be down to level 3 in no time.
The frustrating aspect of this virus is the unknown, not knowing where this will go and when it will end makes it very difficult to plan ahead. Rest assured your booked Safari is still in place and we are ready whenever the world is back to normal.
We hope to bring you more good news as the time goes on and we cannot wait for our next clients to arrive.
