Connected Kingston Coronavirus issue 
Welcome, we know that many of you may have had to adapt your services, change your working pattern, shift your work responsibilities in order to respond to the current situation. It hasn't been easy and we are grateful for all that you are doing. 

In this edition of the Connected Kingston newsletter we are highlighting the available resources and support available to support you, the people that you work with, and residents in Kingston. Alongside this, we are asking for feedback from you in order for us to have the most up to date information to best support people and organisations in the borough so that we can better support people in the borough.
Update to Connected Kingston
The Connected Kingston website has been updated with  new categories to reflect the services and guidance that residents are requesting in this current situation; This is providing an invaluable resource for Champions that are navigating the complex issues that their clients may be facing.

Help with food

Connected Kingston has a dedicated page with information for anyone living in Kingston who needs support or information about how to access food while self-isolating. This includes information about food banks, local food delivery options and how to maintain a nutritious diet.

Ramadan started this week and the Muslim Council of Britain has advice and guidance on how to observe Ramadan safely during Covid-19.

Get the latest NHS information and advice about coronavirus (COVID-19) 

Updated guidance has been published on shielding and protecting people who are clinically extremely vulnerable from COVID-19. The public health advice has not changed; but the document has been edited to improve clarity.

Every Mind Matters – Translations of the new Now more than ever mental health “10 top tips” are now available in Polish, Russian, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Romanian, Roma and Somali. PHE has created social media assets to promote these.
