Expanding Community Assitance and Fostering Spiritual Connection

Expanding Community Assistance Programs
We have scaled up our community assistance by increasing the hours of operation of our Food Pantry and delivering iftar grocery boxes to families at-risk.
Each box includes halal beef and chicken, fish, cooking staples and spices, tea, potatoes, and other essentials from Bangla Bazaar in Little Bangladesh.
For those in our community who can't cook, we have partnered with Biriyani House Restaurant to provide iftar vouchers.

In Phase One, the Social Services Committee has distributed iftar grocery boxes to over 200 families. Depending on household size, families may receive multiple boxes. The cost of each box ranges from $50-$100 dollars depending on the family.
In these unprecedented times, we rely on one another more than ever. Would you be willing to donate $50, $100, $1,000 to provide iftar to even more families in Phase Two?
You have shown us how we can come together and show that our Center is more than a building. We are a true community bonded by faith, friendship, and mutual care.
