Applications for the Canada Emergency
Wage Subsidy Have Opened

The Government of Canada will provide a subsidy of 75% of an eligible employee's weekly earnings, to a maximum of $847 per employee per week, to eligible employers, for up to 12 weeks.

75% Rent Assistance for Small Businesses in Canada

The Government of Canada has created the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) which will assist small businesses experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. The program will reduce the rent by 75% for April, May, and June.

London Drugs Making Space to Sell
Local Small Business Products

London Drugs is offering up shelf space in select stores to local small businesses who have had to close their doors due to COVID-19. 

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business reports that only 21% of small businesses in Canada are fully open due to COVID-19 and 50% are unsure if their business will survive.

In select locations, London Drugs will be transforming its centre aisles into a dedicated space to help local businesses sell their products. Clint Mahlman, President and COO of London Drugs says, “Whether you sell coffee, local honey, or your restaurant’s graphic T-shirts, London Drugs is here to help.”

Weekly Zoom Meeting with MP Patrick Weiler 

Every Monday at 4pm MP Patrick Weiler sits down with the community via zoom to answer your questions (Zoom ID: 807 035 459).
