A Message + Request from Indivisible National Leaders Ezra & Leah

"After many months of campaigning, debating and voting, we now have our Democratic candidate, Vice President Joe Biden. Biden wasn’t the top choice in the primary for many in the Indivisible movement -- including us personally -- but the primary is now over and he will be the Democratic nominee. Our movement made a promise one year ago that we would rally behind the winner of the primary, and throw all of our political power and resources behind the nominee to make that person our next president. We believe it’s time to demonstrate our commitment through a national endorsement, voted on by Indivisibles across the network. And we’re asking you to vote yes. We have a responsibility -- to truly be indivisible against Trump. That means going all in to make Joe Biden the next President, which means a national endorsement.

The Messy Primary is Over -- Now Let's Fix Future Elections

Join Ohio voter advocacy and grassroots groups across the state and urge Ohio legislators to ACT NOW to make sure we have a successful election in November. Our demands include that they:

Mail a postage-paid ballot to every Ohio voter for the 2020 elections, and take other actions to make sure vote-by-mail in Ohio is more robust and accessible;
Ensure Ohio’s 88 Boards of Election have the physical and financial resources they need to hold a primarily vote-by-mail election this year, and in future years if needed;
Require boards of elections to have Election Administration Plans every year that include emergency planning, and create an Emergency Elections Task Force able to make decisions about election administration during a crisis.
