Lockdown Lamb
We have picked up a cancelled export order of Lamb Legs this week. They are all smaller than the usual cut we get in NZ so the price point for each leg is lower than normal. It is a must for the weekend if you are extending your bubble by one.

Mandarins
Satsuma Mandarins are in full swing this week. This year there is less fruit coming out of Northland and overall prices will be a bit higher and fruit will be a little smaller than other years. This is due to the drought (although it is not in the news that much).

Broccoli
After predicting that the price of greens would be high last week, Broc is on the Blackboard for the second week in a row. It's great news for getting more green vegetables into your diet this week. The weather is a little cooler now so it maybe a good time to make a soup, this one looks pretty good, you can sub in any blue cheese.

Coconut Cream
Bust out your best Thai Curry this week while Kara Coconut Cream is on the Blackboard. Have a go at this vegetarian Red Curry, if you want to add some Beef or Chicken it would also work. If you really want to push the Coconut Cream boat out this week try whipping it like Cow's Cream and having a dollop on some Apple Crumble.

Butterflied Lamb Legs
If a full noise Roast is not on your agenda this week you can always throw a boned out Lamb Leg on the BBQ. The weather is still pretty mild for the end of April/ start of May, so we should make the most of it and do at least one dinner outside in the weekend.

Flour is Back
It may well be the last couple of weeks for baking to entertain the kids so make the most of it with our deal on Flour. Even better news this week we have also managed to get our hands on some Yeast and Baking powder.

Friday Drinks
If you are going a little stir crazy tomorrow night, crack one of theses babies. It's a classically pale Rose with a fruity bouquet and a hint of citrus. It's also a super deal. It is first in best dressed though as I only have a few dozen.
Stop the Press: Currently NZ Freight network is under some pressure. As a result this week's hot wine this week has not arrived at time of publishing this newsletter. But I am wishful it will be here when you come in on friday. Don't let it stop you coming in we have heaps of nice wine. and I shant let it stop me from sending the newsletter out.
