Welcome to the latest FutureNow eNews. Your workforce, your future.

Dear <<First Name>>

FutureNow has been actively gathering and sharing information about the impact of COVID-19 on the Creative, Leisure and Technology industries. Many of the sectors under FutureNow’s coverage bore the first wave of economic contraction and government directives to close. Sectors that were significantly impacted include Performing and Visual Artists, Cultural institutions, Hospitality providers, Tourism businesses, Events companies, the Screen sector and Sport across all codes and levels. This information can be accessed on our industry pages and through our blog.

How is your your organisation responding?

The FutureNow team is interested in your situation, in particular how your workforce is being affected. In addition to economic support packages already provided, the West Australian and Commonwealth governments are keen to find accessible and immediate training solutions to help businesses respond to the situation and to prepare for recovery.

FutureNow may be able to direct you to information and resources and connect you to other industry stakeholders.
FutureNow is interested to know;
  • Whether your business has closed or managed to continue and how you are adapting
  • About changes to your staffing levels and tasks
  • Whether the wage subsidy and support packages have helped you
  • Whether your apprentices and trainees are still in training
  • About the impact on community recreational programs you are involved in
