Impact of the Changing Public Health Environment on State Cancer Programs:
COVID-19 and the Implications for Cancer Screening
On May 13 at 3:00 p.m. ET, NACDD will host a 1-hour webinar for state cancer program staff focused on what we are learning from COVID19 regarding the important role of prevention and health promotion. Using a value-based care framework, we will examine the role of cancer screening programs in improving population health and implications for future pandemics.

Practical applications of Torch Insights data will be discussed and demonstrated to assist state cancer program practitioners in projecting screening needs and opportunities for expanding collaboration with healthcare system providers.

  • how COVID19 is impacting your program operations and partnerships;
  • issues you may have in light of non-essential medical procedures and screening being deferred; and
  • questions you may have about the use of Torch Insights data when working with health system partners.
