Home Assignment
We are stateside for the next 9-12 months. It became increasingly apparent that access to Miobo island will likely continue to be cut off for a while due to COVID-19 precautions. While we wait, Jim is serving in an IT role for our field (which can be done from any location), so when the American embassy organized an evacuation flight from Papua (as the airports are locked down), we decided to take it. We arrived in the US a few days ago, and as things eventually open up in the US, we look forward to reconnecting with as many of you as we can!
We are so thankful to all of you who prayed for our crazy trip home - God's hand was evident. Please continue to pray for us - that we would press into the Lord during this time and always, and that our hearts would glorify Him.
