Dear Friends,

Martin Luther once said "If I knew that the world would end tomorrow, I would still plant an apple tree today".

Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Regarding the corona virus let’s remember some Biblical truths:

1. God reigns OVER it.  If the wind and sea obey Him, so does this virus (Matthew 8:27).

2. He is IN THE MIDST of it.  He’s our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

3. He wants to do something THROUGH it . He has good purposes in ALL things (Romans 8:28).

4. He can bring eternal hope OUT OF it. Humanity is mortal, and it’s urgent that each and every person hears and knows the hope of the Gospel.

I am very much encouraged by our ministry team and their trust in God. They are coming up with creative ways to continue reaching out with the gospel virtual discussion groups and studies will process God’s truth and present the gospel. God’s Spirit empowers and enables even in crisis.

In the first week of March a team from Missouri came to help us to spread the good news of Christ.

At the church service we explained the gospel and 20 people accepted Christ. At the end we have enjoyed goulash and now by telephone the church planter is following up with these 20 people.
Viktor who is blind and raising his daughter, Kitti alone, we celebrate her 6th birthday.
Because of this corona virus our daughter, Noemi came home from the USA. She is continuing her study online. On March 12. she flew from Chicago to Warsaw and from Warsaw she took another airplane to Budapest. After she flew for 20 minutes a lightening touched the airplane. They had to fly back to Warsaw and by God Grace they landed safely and later with another airplane she was able to come to Budapest. Now she is at home and we are all happy.

1.LET’S PRAY.  No quarantine will ever stop the power and reach of prayer. In fact, it just might multiply it!

2.LET’S LIFT OUR EYES from the headlines and fix them on Jesus.

3.LET’S SHARE the Hope of the Gospel with those around you.

We are not doomed to passivity, but to actively wear the armor of God and keep the good fight! Let our prayers cover this planet bringing blessings to every corner!

This is our prayer for you:

„Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.” 3John 2

God bless you,

Tibor and Marta Miklós
