A Season of Waiting 

Dear Friends, 

Throughout the scriptures, God’s people are often called to wait on the Lord. The people of Israel waited forty years to enter the promised land. Elijah waited for God to send rain after the long drought in Israel. The promised Messiah in Jesus was long-awaited. And we wait for Christ’s return today.  Clearly waiting is part of our faith journey. 

As we seek to do God’s work here at Logos Academy, right now we seem to be called to a season of waiting. Given the COVID-19 pandemic that has put many of our lives on hold and halted construction around the nation, we have decided to delay the start of construction on our campus expansion project. We had been scheduled to break ground in August of 2020 but now will likely do so in early 2021. While it is sometimes difficult to wait, we believe it is part of discerning God’s will and leading with wisdom. We are confident that God’s work and mission at Logos Academy will continue into the future and be needed more than ever in our community. 

I’d invite you to join us in prayer this month as we look for wisdom in the days and months ahead.  We would love to have you join us at our monthly Zoom time for prayer (see information below).
