Dear Friends,

Below is a summary of the prayers we lifted to God during worship this past Sunday, as well as some requests that came in over the course of the week.  In order to keep these concerns within our community, we’re only offering the first names and last initials (of those we know):

From Sunday, May 10:
From  Janene : Prayers please for the family of my close friends, Dorothy and Kevin "Buzzy" Delaney. Dorothy passed away about a year ago from cancer and her dear husband, Buzzy passed away on Monday, also from cancer. He was diagnosed very soon after Dor's passing. Pray for their sons, Aiden, Kaelan, and Devin. Thank you.
From  Yvetter E: prayer for all those at the frontline especially my husband Ehabe for Gods protection
From  Tim W: Prayer for those without, jobs, family, faith and those who have lost hope. Prayers for all mothers!
From Diane: Prayers of thanksgiving for those churches like you, who are offering worship that feels safe for those of us at high risk who need to stay home
From  Brenda S: Prayers for Pete, who is recovering at home after having a pacemaker implanted emergently on Wednesday.
From  Christina M: prayers for the high school and college graduates of 2020. You certainly were born into challenging times
From  Roberta J: Prayers of gratitude for our tremendous staff and how they were able to quickly learn and implement our new beautiful way of worship. And for our young people as they take part in a new way.
From  Ingrid M: Prayers for a colleague, Sean, and his family (all ill and awaiting testing); prayers of joy that Andy's co-worker, Paul, has tested both negative for COVID-19 and positive for the antibodies now that he and his family have fully recovered.
From  Kathy P: Happy Mother’s Day to all.  Prayers for all working hard during this difficult time
From  Karen: Prayers for successful knee surgery this week.
From Julie: Gratitude: My daughter Grace is home safe from Florida.
From  Forrest S : Thankful for our daughter’s (Kate) safe travel back to South Carolina.
From  Lois P: Continued prayers for Mike and his family as they live with his cancer and it’s effects on all of them.  Also for Aunt Mildred (101) who tested positive and still is asymptomatic.
From  Julie: Prayers for women who lost a child or who suffer because they could not have children.

Prayer Requests from last week via email:
Prayers of thanks that after suffering with the disease since March, Jeff B had his first negative test for COVID-19! Praise God!

From Kathy P-P:  Thank you for all your prayers for my brother Gene. He went through surgery for the brain tumor and was able to go home for a few days to be with his wife, daughters, & grandchildren.  On Friday night he was rushed back to the hospital. We now pray for God to take him home without any more pain.
