Tell us about your research.
"For my longitudinal research project, I am working to improve long-term outcomes in pediatric acute kidney injury through patient education and behavior modification.  A large portion of the project relies on incorporating mobile health as a means of distributing educational tools."

Why is your science important?
"This research is important to me because preventative medicine is one of my passions—I find joy in being able to help children in ways that can prevent debilitating disease in adulthood.  My work allows me to do just that!"

If you could guest-star on any television show what would it be and why?
"I would hands-down pick Arrested Development. I really loved the levels of humor on the show, and with my background as an Animal Sciences major, I think I could finally help the Bluths learn what sound a chicken makes."
