With the stay at home orders lifted, the leadership of White Stone has decided to reopen the church building doors on May 24 to worship together in person! We will have certain precautionary measures put into place to protect the church family but we will be together again.  More details coming next week!

Sister of Stone Parking Lot Gathering

Friday, May 15, 6:30-7:30 pm
Thursday, May 21, 10:00-11:00 am

Please join us for a precious time of encouragement as we examine the faith of our forefathers named in Hebrews chapter 11. We’ll discuss how they received their commendation for their trust and reliance in the promises of God.  We have so much to gain by the revealing of their struggles, victories and trust in what they did not see. Of course, their lives weren’t perfect, their circumstances weren’t ideal, but their faith was commendable.

Together let’s focus on being a church of faith in the great promises of our Savior and be the great example to the generations to come of the reliance we have in the victory that is ours in Christ.

Please come prepared to share a promise of God you’ve experienced and a hope of a promise or a victory that still lies ahead of you.  Let’s lift each other’s spirits with truth and love!  Look forward to seeing you!

We will gather in the NW corner of the parking lot.  Depending on the number of ladies, we may break into 2 groups.  Bring a chair. We will park the cars and vans with kiddos together as Mom’s need to stay near their vehicles.

We will meet for 1 hour. We will sing a song together, pray and read Hebrews 11 and settle into discussion, then close in prayer.

We want to honor God in our gathering and sustain a wonderful reputation for the love of our Church and comply with social distancing guidelines. The rules and guidelines were emailed out on 4/21, if you'd like a copy please email info@mywhitestone.org. Thank you!

AMERICA: ADULT CLASS

Our nation is often viewed as having a secular foundation. White this is false, many founders had different beliefs than our own. Join us as we look at the historical events, key founders, and official manuscripts that reveal where we came from as a nation, and how the Kingdom we now pursue is what truly shapes us.

Week 1: The Events (audio/slides link)

Week 2: The Founders (video)

Week 3: The Manuscripts (coming soon!)

*Please contact Pastor Josh Watson with any questions you have.

Springhill Camp is August 3-7 from 9 am - 4 pm at Oakwood Church.  The camp is open to all kids entering kindergarten to grade 5.  Click here to register.

Springhill provides meaningful lessons built into activities that are both fun and character building. Children participate in large group time with skits and songs, followed by small group discussions about what they have learned. The day is filled with awesome adventures: conquering the climbing wall, soaring high on the flying squirrel, and many more experiences! Kids will build confidence and make new friends and the staff focus on your child having a spectacular week at day camp!
The White Stone App allows you to connect to the LiveStream, listen to Adult Classes, send prayer requests, see the Church Calendar of Events, receive notifications of upcoming events, and even give online. Text: wscc app To: 77977.
If you or someone you know is in need, please call the church office or fill out the Benevolence form online and a pastor or staff member will get back to you.

Thank You!  We would like to thank those of you who are continuing to make designated donations to the church’s benevolence fund. This has allowed White Stone to continue to help those in need meet their financial obligations. Because of recent layoffs, we expect more requests for assistance. Thanks to your generosity, we’ll be able to help many who are struggling. Some have asked how they can continue to support the church financially when the building is essentially locked down. There are three ways to make donations:

1. Online giving is available through our website
2. Good old fashioned U.S. mail is another option
3. Or, during this "safer at home" time, you can drop checks off at the church. Simply put your donation in an envelope and slide it through the crack between the two doors of the main entrance. Giving envelopes are available outside the door.

General YTD $294,648 | Budget YTD $365,385

Thank you again for your generosity to the Lord, your community and to your White Stone family!
We hope you are enjoying the White Stone Bulletin and that it's helping you feel a bit more connected, giving you something to look forward to as we look at the months to come. Please remember, if you need anything or just have a question, staff members are at the church weekdays to assist you. Call or email, 262-569-2766. info@mywhitestone.org.
