Are you bored during corona times? Take the opportunity to learn more about saving, investments, stocks and funds.

On thursday at 5 pm Nik Johansson and Flores Van den Bossche will hold a introduction lecture on subject, through Zoom. During this lecture we’ll go through everything you need to know to feel confident in starting investing. The lecture is aimed towards people who currently does not know a lot about the subject as well as people who wants to learn more. We will go through the following topics:

• How to save money
• Things to think about when you invest
• Common mistakes when investing and how to avoid them
• How to act during a crisis (corona special)
• Tips to learn more

The lecture is expected to take 1-1,5h and afterwards there will be an opportunity to ask questions, discuss, get help opening an account and so on, if it is of interest. Since the lecture is through Zoom you can come and go as you please, if you cannot attend the whole lecture. Link to Zoom will be found in the event https://www.facebook.com/events/604461586826067/. This lecture will be held in Swedish.

Hello folks! Last week I talked about doing a sort of dopamine detox at the start of this week and I thought I would share how it went. The first 24 hours I managed to block out social media completely while feeling more productive than usual, however if those two are linked I cannot tell. After a while though it became dull to stay out of the loop, which is probably why this usually is done in shorter time spans. It’s probably healthy to learn to stay away from your cellphone and increase your productivity so I will consider doing something similar soon again. One positive thing I got though was that I noticed the world around me a lot more. For example, just sitting and staring out the window while eating breakfast was nice, though it might be because I haven’t done it so long. In general, I think we should all consider how we use our cellphones and social media and actively block these things out during certain time periods. Until next week, take care folks.
