Virtual Membership Meeting

Wednesday, May 20, 7:00-8:30 PM--via Zoom
(see our web site
for registration information)

We have two guest speakers:
Scott Cohen from the Portland Bureau of Transportation will talk about a proposed redesign of the Greenway/Patton/Talbot intersection, and

Brian Stewart from Quiet Clean PDX, who will present their efforts to stop the use of gas-powered leaf blowers.

Importantly, this is the yearly meeting in which we elect Board Members. Do you care about the neighborhood, about transportation, our micro-parks, public safety, land use, history? We could use your energy and voice on the Board. Contact us at

Agenda

We hope you can make it!

Spring has sprung at SWHRL’s Vista Spring Restoration site. You may have noticed the profusion of daffodils and new native plants (watch for the lupine): A big thanks to Aubrey Russell and his volunteers! If you would like to be notified of ongoing volunteer weeding efforts (proper social distancing observed), please email contact@swhrl.org to get on our email list.

In response to the Covid-19 public health crisis, Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is rolling out a new initiative to make our streets more accessible and safer for everyone. They'd like your input! read more
