Join us in recognising someone who really has made a difference in their Communify Team
Viviana has been recognised for an excellence award this week for teamwork. Childcare Director, Jo says, "It’s so lovely to welcome a new member to the team who is inclusive, encouraging and so much fun. Viviana is extremely passionate about her role within the centre and completes the puzzle to our team.. The team are communicating and working so wonderfully together despite the challenges we faced with COVID19 and I’m so proud of their collaboration. We are so excited to have Viviana as our new teacher who shares our vision for Communify."
Ann from Intensive Family Support has been recognised this month from Rhian, her Team Leader for her outstanding team work stating, "Ann has been leading an IFS project for DV Prevention Month, and has developed some great ideas to support and raise awareness of domestic violence. This has shown PASSION, CREATIVITY, and COLLABORATION as they have come up with new ideas that can be implemented across the Communify and Act for kids team even with COVID restrictions in place. Such as creating purple Zoom backgrounds that can be used in our meetings. Thank you Ann for all your hard work in this project! "
Mandy from Asylum Circle has recognised our volunteer Rick for his team work. Here's what Mandy said, "Rick has been such a kind, enthusiastic supporter who has responded to the residents and staff requests for help, sometimes at very short notice with polite efficient attention to the job at hand. Rick has always explained before and after visits what his plan is with residents and what his next step is. We feel he is completely trustworthy and reliable with following through tasks.
Today Rick spent 2 and half hours patiently assisting a resident with achieving his goal of completing his fork lift license assessment.
The resident was very grateful for Rick’s assistance sending me a text saying
“ Thanks so so much for today 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 “ Rick has been respectful and encouraging of residents with limited English and willing to learn about different cultural backgrounds and interests. He has introduced himself to new residents and helped them solve problems collectively by including other residents suggestions and contributions. He has brought to our team new suggestions to help sell residents cars, get bikes working and improve the garden. He has generously lent his tools that have enabled us to open letter boxes, fence out bush turkeys and repair machines."
