Dear partners,

Hopefully the European Union is going through an unprecedented sanitary, social and economic crisis, which might lead to a sharp increase of Euroscepticism in public opinion. Despite the fact that the future of the Union is at stake, Cap Digital is working hard to develop new European projects, together with our partners, to fight against this new challenge, to maintain the European spirit and to contribute to the emergence of a new future.

Our team is mobilizing itself during this difficult period by creating a dedicated crisis unit to best respond to the needs and requests of our members, and by promoting solutions from our community. Joining our forces to enhance a digital and ecological transition, could play a major role in our continent in the post-Covid period.

In parallel, the current situation should not reopen a political and budgetary fight on the Green Deal. Pillars of what was at the heart of the Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen’s project, are still pending today. The Commission, in the process of revising its long-term budget proposal for the 2021-2027 period, still considers that the fight against climate change must guide investments in the years to come. Cap Digital and its team plainly advocate and support the Green Deal ambition.
