Colorado Voting Case Comes To the Supreme Court –
Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 8:00 am MST
Many sources are providing live audio access to the hearings this week. One easy option is to stream it live on NPR.

Attorney General Phil Weiser will be arguing by teleconference before the United States Supreme Court in a case called Colorado Department of State v Baca. The case, which has been referred to as the “Faithless Electors” case, deals with whether Colorado can enforce laws permitting removal of Electoral College members who do not cast their Electoral College votes in presidential elections in conformance with the state’s popular vote totals. Learn more about the case here.

Q & A with Regina O’Brien, Eagle County Clerk and Recorder –
Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm
Join us for a virtual conversation with Eagle County’s chief election administrator, Regina O’Brien. This event will be moderated by Eagle County Commissioner Kathy Chandler-Henry.

Colorado is getting high praise for its mail-in election process. But due to COVID-19 our election policies and procedures continue to be evaluated and updated. It is a perfect time to hear from our own top elections official. Regina will discuss her office’s administration of mail-in ballots, how security and accuracy is ensured, how the electorate is changing and how new rules issued by the Colorado Secretary of State will affect Eagle County. And there will be time for your questions too. RSVP online at vailvalleyvotes.org/events.
