Oasis's plan for reopening
Hello again everyone,
First off, a very Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mamas and motherly figures we have at Oasis! We are thankful for you and appreciate you so very much. In an effort to say thank you, I hope you'll consider coming to our Mother's Day Drive Thru experience. From 2pm till 4pm on Sunday, May 10th, get mom out of the house for a bit and bring her by the church for a family photo and a rose as a gift from us. We will still be honoring social distancing at this drive thru and taking all proper precautions for health.
We also have a fun event planned for Saturday, May 16th and that is our first ever Oasis Parade! Please note this is a date change from the first date sent out. We miss seeing you all and want to give an opportunity for a fun socially distant hello. So if you would like to participate by being in the car caravan or if you'd like to be one of the homes that gets visited, sign up below in the Community Outreach and Events section of this email.
Many have also been asking us about when Oasis plans to reopen it's doors and begin in-person meetings again. In last week's email, we sent a video with our plans for reopening, but in case you missed it here is a brief overview of the plan:
~ Phase 1- Continue with online services as did during the safer at home orders.
~ Phase 2- Focus on small circles. This will be a time where you can invite family and friends to your home as you feel comfortable to watch services together and fellowship. Continue to develop friendships through our online small groups. We want to encourage you to keep following the safety guidelines.
~ Phase 3- We will begin to hold services again at Oasis and ask you to keep your children with you to enjoy service as a family as childcare will not be available the first few weeks.
I hope all of you are doing well and are continuing to stay safe. We miss seeing all of you very much! God bless you all.
