NASA Talks
Hello everybody. I've been hesitant to send out links to talks/resources because everybody is in a different place, both on the family and school fronts. Some kids are burned out by screen time while others are looking for additional interesting content.
But I felt that there are are few opportunities in the next few days that may be of interest:
Tonight (May 7, 7 PM), NASA JPL has a von Karman lecture titled "Becoming a NASA Engineer", given by an actual JPL systems engineer. Link below (please note that in case this time doesn't work for you, that this talk will probably be saved and posted on the JPL YouTube channel):

And tomorrow morning (May 8, 10 AM), there will be a lecture on the next Mars Rover (the aptly named Perseverance) given by a project scientist on the mission. Thank you to Mrs. Goodwin for bringing this to my attention.

By coincidence, for 3rd - 5th graders, be on the lookout for information from your teacher on another video conference on Mars/JPL missions next week. This is being arranged by Mrs. Jacobs, and the talk will be given by a JPL electrical/communications engineer.
Hope everybody is staying safe.
