The PFC and SSC will host a joint live webinar meeting on Tuesday, May 19 to close out the school year and look ahead to next year. We will send out a survey prior to the meeting to solicit question from the community Mr Machado or the PFC and SSC members to answer. More details will follow.

Ms. Sarah has secured funding from the SFUSD Libraries Department to create a container garden on our new library learning deck. The new planters will create a beautiful, drought tolerant learning garden for all of our students to enjoy. Come join the Garden Committee when school is back in session to help us install this little breath of fresh air. Email garden@harveymilk.com if you are interested.
And, through Donors Choose, Ms. Sarah's yoga mat project was fully funded. During lunch recess, students have the option to participate in crafting, building, and making activities in the Library. Yoga mats would mean that a yoga class could be offered to students, inside or outside. Students could also have access to the mats during library time, if they need a break from the group and an opportunity to cool down.

Construction seems to speeding along while the rest of us shelter in place. The two bungalows have now been removed so we can get an idea of how the yard will look and all the extra space we've gained.

Our morning program students planned to make breakfast burritos this week, a truly American creation that was first popularized in the Southwest. With the uncertainty in our economy now, Ms. Summer, our school social worker, has identified a few families in our Harvey Milk community in need of some additional support for groceries. If you’re able and interested in contributing money to our “Community Support Fund” or want to learn more, please email vicepresident@harveymilk.com to receive information about donations and plans to support this part of our community. |

For students needing homework and extra academic support, the San Francisco Public Library has free one-on-one tutoring available from Brainfuse. This is available 24/7 with live tutors from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. |

Mission Bowling Club is partnering with Greenleaf Produce ( www.greenleafsf.com) to provide premium boxes of produce to our community. We have added a $10 fee to raise money for Mission Bowling Club. Here are the details:
There are two boxes to choose from Both are approximately 12-14 Lbs of Produce per box:
- Organic Produce Box price is $43 = $3.07 per pound
- Produce Market Box price is $34 = $2.42 per pound
Order by Thursday for Friday delivery (we need a 10 orders to make the minimum); if we don't make the minimum the week you order...delivery is guaranteed the next Friday
Pick up is at Mission Bowling Club (3176 17th Street at South Van Ness) on FRIDAYS between 12 - 5 pm.

The SFUSD Family Resource Link is a new service that helps families navigate SFUSD resources and questions during distance learning.
Families with questions can access the Family Resource Link in three ways:
- Email a request to familylink@sfusd.edu
- Go to familylink.sfusd.edu to complete an online request form
- Call 415-340-1716 (Hours of operation for the phone are Monday through Friday from 9 am - 1 pm).
- Callers can leave a voicemail at all hours.
- Translation services will be provided, as needed.
The Family Resource Link does not replace existing phone lines and emails to reach district departments.
