It's Staff Appreciation Week. Let's make it special! 

• The WMS PTSA has kicked things off by sending a modest coffee card via email to every staff member. 

• Now, it's your turn ... on our Staff Appreciation "Padlet." It's easy to use this virtual wall for a brief message to one or more of your child's teachers. There's also space to thank custodians, lunchroom staff, counselors, administrators and folks from HOST and other partner organizations.

Donate gift cards for families in need 

• More than 60 WMS families are seeking help with basic needs during this stressful time.
   
• If you are able, make a difference with a gift card. 
  
  Please *mail* gift cards in denominations of $75 or less (Safeway, Target, or Fred Meyer) to the school, 2101 S. Jackson St., Seattle, WA 98144. WMS counselors and outreach workers will distribute the cards.
  
  If you are buying a gift card online but cannot print it, you can email it to info@wmsptsa.com and we will get a printed version to the school. 
  
  [Note: Cards cannot be sent to Seattle Schools email addresses. Also, for legal reasons, the PTSA is not currently accepting this type of "pass-through" donation, but is helping manage the process.]
   
• A previous round of gift cards was provided by the Right Now Needs Fund of the Alliance for Education, but it cannot always respond as quickly as the needs arise. Please help if you are able!
