           THOUGHTS FROM OUR PASTOR

Dear faithful people of God,
With all praise and thanksgiving to Our Lord of heaven and earth I would
like to inform you we will be allowed to publicly resume Masses begin on Monday, May 18th. We will once again be able to gather and be together for
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass while still maintaining social distancing.
I ask for your continued patience and generosity as we make this transition knowing that each of us will need to make adjustments on how we do things. There will be many things to put in place for precautions and to make sure we are maintaining cleaning/sanitizing/disinfecting procedures that will keep us safer.
As we all hunger and yearn for the Holy Eucharist, I ask that you please consider others and try to maintain healthy habits that will keep all of us safe. If you are over 65 or have health concerns that would put you or others at risk, please be aware that the dispensation of Bishop Spalding for the Sunday precept is still in effect until June 30, 2020. If you fall under this category remain home.
Part of our planning is to figure out how we can have family members trained to take Holy Communion to their at risk loved ones. We will also have to continue following the social distance guidelines and prepare the Church to keep these guidelines while we are in Mass. We are only allowed to gather at 50% of our capacity at this time. Therefore Holy Rosary will only be able to safely fit around 100 people for each Mass. I will send out the specific plan this Wednesday for the return of public Masses at Holy Rosary and our procedures and protocol that we will follow.

Please share this information with those who do not have access to social media or email. Please think about who these individuals might be and reach out to inform them.

“For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.  He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.  As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me.  This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever.” Jn. 6:55-58

In Christ,
Father Steiner

Pope Francis is urging everyone to pray the Rosary every day during the month of May, for an end to the Covid-19 pandemic. He has offered several prayers to help us which you can find here.

Our parish is also providing a variety of ways for you to join us in prayer to honor Mary our Mother.

Join us for a
Drive In Rosary

Yes! You read that correctly! We are getting creative so we can honor Mary even in this time of social distancing. Grab your rosary, pile the family in the car and head to the lower parking lot of Holy Rosary Academy on Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 pm. Deacon Wayne will lead everyone in the rosary with all of the cars facing our Blessed Virgin Mary statue.
The event will be held good weather permitting.

Participate in a Virtual Rosary on Zoom Every Tuesday Evening

Deacon Wayne and Deacon Mike will be leading us in praying the rosary on a Zoom call
each Tuesday evening at 7 pm.

The Most Important Person on earth is a mother.

She cannot claim the honor of having built

Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not.

She has built something more magnificent than

any cathedral - a dwelling for an immortal soul,

the tiny perfection of her baby’s body…

The angels have not been blessed with such a grace.

They cannot share in God’s creative miracle

to bring new saints to Heaven.

Only a human mother can. Mothers are

 closer to God than any other creature;

God joins forces with mothers in performing

this act of creation… What on God’s good earth

is more glorious than this: to be a mother?
~ Venerable Joseph Cardinal Mindszenty
