Jeremiah 29:11 postulates, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” As we continue to live in unprecedented times, and navigate life-threatening and economy-shaking struggles faced because of Covid-19, let us reminisce on the fact that God has good plans for us, which include a future and hope.
I extend my gratitude to the Praise Cathedral Family, even without your physical presence on Sunday, I believe we had an amazing 15th-anniversary celebration. As the book of Samuel perfectly declares…“Hitherto hath the Lord helped us to this point,” Praise Cathedral Worship Centre, we hold on to the same promise declaring that it was the Lord who has helped us and we believe He will continue to embrace us for many more years to come with His righteous right hand.

Celebrating Mothers

On Sunday, we celebrate Mother's Day. While you may be staying home, you are not alone because it does not matter where you are positioned on the continuum of mothering, we celebrate and acknowledge you.
To those who gave birth to a child, we celebrate with you;
To those who lost a child, we mourn with you;
To those who are foster moms, mentor moms, and spiritual moms, we need you;
To those who have warm and close relationships with your children, we rejoice with you;
To those who have disappointment with, or heartache, and detachment from your children, we sit with you;
To those who lost their mothers, we grieve with you;
To those who step-parent, we journey with you;
And to those who are pregnant with new life, both expected and surprising, we anticipate with you.
This Mother's Day, we walk with you. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart and we have real warriors in our midst. We remember you. Happy Mother's Day!
