"Primavara Fericita!"
Happy Spring! I am so excited for it to finally be spring! The weather is turning pretty here and I just love the spring and summer months in Romania. Winter was fun, but we are excited to jump into spring!
The group of students from Ukraine we worked with.
In February, we travelled to Ukraine to help fellow BMA missionaries Larry and Tammy Wood with an English camp outreach. Bryan, Pam, and I  each helped teach a group of students English, and Bryan had an opportunity to preach. It was a fantastic weekend of ministry as well as fellowshipping with our friends the Woods.
branching out
One of my goals in March was to start becoming more independent here in Romania. I am working to get out more on my own, be brave, and talk to more people. One Friday in March I ventured out and found the sweetest Christian bookstore and coffeeshop here in Oradea. I read a kid's book in Romanian while enjoying a coffee. After the quarentine is over, I can't wait to go back.

Homework on the trampoline!
Speaking of quarantine, and to address the elephant in the room, yes, we are in quarantine here. We have been isolated to our house for the past three weeks now, with the exception of Bryan leaving for groceries as needed. Foruntately for us, our everyday life doesn't look too different.  I am still having language class, through facebook messenger now. The Risner kids are still homeschooling as normal. The main things that have changed are our ministry and our free time. We are no longer able to meet in the gypsy village, so Bryan is working hard to put out content for our people on a new Facebook page. We are also unable to get out of the house in the evenings or weekends, so we are spending a lot of time playing board and card games, building forts, and hanging out outside.

"Fear not for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" -Isaiah 41:10
