Nature is #WFH

Live on Instagram

Hi <<First Name>>,

For the past several weeks, many of us have been working from home. The initial euphoria of spending time with family is wearing off, and we're all beginning to complain about not being able to go outside.

But even as we complain, let's remember, that work from home is especially harder on women in general, and moms in particular. Moms are working twice as hard -- they always have, even before the lockdown.

And just like every mom, mommy nature is always working from home.

During the lockdown, Mother Nature has gotten a bit of a break from humanity, and we're all experiencing the beauty of nature. But we shouldn't need a pandemic to enjoy nature's blessings. We can help keep nature beautiful, by adopting sustainable living practices. One of the easiest ways to start living sustainably, is through composting.

Come, join me today for an IG live session on composting, and see what Mother Nature has been cooking for us during the lockdown.

You can tune in to Instagram @kasturika_r or @traveltroovel at 6 pm IST (12:30 pm UTC) to watch it live.
I'll walk you through the process of composting, and also answer questions.

To follow along, here’s what you need:
  • A largish container
  • Some soil or newspaper
  • Segregated kitchen scraps
Even if you don’t have any of these, just bring along the inner child in you, and I’ll share alternative materials that you have at home!
Live on Instagram today (9 May, 2020) at 6 pm IST (12:30 pm UTC)
I hope you'll join us. See you!

Stay home, stay safe,
Warm Regards,
Kasturika

Design Tuesdays is an experiment in reverse social media - instead of emails with links to the blog, the stories are self-contained in the e-letters, and are aimed at generating conversations, the way letters were originally intended to.

There's no "read more". But there is a reply.

Check out the archive of previous letters.
