Second Sunday UU Freethinking Mystics

UU Freethinking Mystics on Zoom
Second Sundays, 9:00—10:15 a.m.
We are members and friends of Unitarian Universalism walking the path of spiritual experience and growth as it unfolds in our lives. We come to this safe, caring, authentic, compassionate group for inspiration, to study, and to explore our direct experience of the fullness and mystery of life.
The group is facilitated by Doug Taylor.

This year the group is using The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself by Michael Singer as a resource text to serve as foundation for discussions and experiences together. This Sunday we will focus on Chapters 17 and 18 about "living fully in harmony and balance."

As our time of isolation continues, we probably will experience grief: from the loss of face to face community, people we love who are dying, fractured relationships, all of it. We need a place to hold our grief. This service will offer some perspective and a brief ritual for acknowledging our losses.

Supporting Our Tahoma UU Congregation

During our online worship service there will be a time to contribute in an act of collective generosity, just as we do in person each week. Donations for pledges or other contributions can be made online by going to our website at www.TahomaUU.com, then scroll to the "Donate to TahomaUU" button, and follow the instructions to make a contribution from your bank account. This will be an electronic transfer of funds from your bank account to the church bank account, and is especially appreciated during this current health situation. Contributions can also be made from your bank online, or can also be mailed to the church at Tahoma UU Congegation, 1115 S 56th Street, Tacoma WA 98408 with checks written to TUUC.

During the worship service, you will now see an option to contribute via text on your mobile phone. The number for contributions is 855-917-4099. Text your contribution amount to 855-917-4099 on your mobile phone, and follow the prompts to make a contribution using your debit or credit card.

Contributions made online from your bank generate a physical check that is mailed to the congregation that is then deposited to the church's bank account. Contributions made online through the church website generate an electronic transfer of funds as a deposit made directly to the church's bank account. Contributions made via text generate a payment processed by the same company that processes the online donations made via the link on the church website, and these also go directly to the church's bank account.

Thank you for your continued support during this time.
See you ONLINE on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for worship service !
