The deadline for CHMS Bricks is May 14. If you are interested in purchasing a PTO “Paving the Way to the Future” red brick, click HERE. The brick may include your child’s name or family name and is placed in the CHMS entrance way.
Calling all parents of rising Hinsdale Central High School freshmen! The HC PTO and the Hinsdale Central Administration cordially invite you to attend the HINSDALE CENTRAL FRESHMAN CLASS OF 2024 virtual RED DEVIL WELCOME and INFORMATIONAL SESSION. The event will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m.. This is an opportunity for you to “meet” the Hinsdale Central High School Leadership Team and learn about academics, sports, and activities that HCHS has to offer. You can also find out how PTO involvement can help make your transition easier.

Register for the PTO and order your School Supply Kit for next school year. Supply Kit order deadline has been extended to May 20. The supply kits contain all the supplies your child will need for the year. The kits will be delivered to CHMS and available on Back to School Day in August.

The May 14 General PTO Meeting is canceled, but we still have business matters. Please cast your vote for both the 2020-21 Board slate and Proposed Budget. Voting will close on Friday, May 22.
The PTO by-laws state that the Executive Board positions must be filled each year. PLEASE consider NOMINATING yourself or someone great for next year’s board. If we don’t fill the open positions, the officers below will be forced to double-up on responsibilities. Reach out to Jenny Driscoll or Michele Schubkegel vp@chmspto.org with questions.

Registration is well underway. If you find that you either did not purchase or need additional:
- PE Shorts – $9.00
- PE Shirt – $6.00
- PE Lock – $5.75
- Heart Rate Monitor Strap – $15.25
- Science Goggles – $4.00
- Yearbook (can be purchased until December 31, 2020) – $20.00
- Grad Robe (can be purchased until February 1, 2021) – 8th Grade Only – $19.75
You can log into skyward: skyward.d181.org. Once logged in:
- Go to the fee management tab.
- To the right of the student’s name, click “Add a Fee”.
- You will then see a list of fees to choose from. If you wish to purchase more than one PE shirt or pair of shorts, you will need to add them once for each shirt or pair of shorts you want.
- After you have added all the items you want, click on “Purchase”. This will take you to schoolpay where you can pay and complete the transaction.
Items will not be sold at Back-to School Day. However, any and all of the items mentioned above can be purchased at any time during the year, by check made payable to CHMS.

Hinsdale Central Boosters is hosting two socially distanced spirit wear sales on Saturday, May 16 and Monday, June 1 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. We have a limited selection that includes our more popular items such as HC hoodies, hats, t-shirts and wind breakers.
