The Frame Gallery Receives Funding for Significant Renovations

Thanks to the work of Director Coco Allred and Business Manger Zachary Rapaport, The Frame, CMU’s student-run gallery, will receive a significant boost in funding for the 2020-21 academic year. A division of CMU’s Student Affairs, SLICE (Student Leadership, Involvement, and Civic Engagement) awarded The Frame an additional $42,000 to undertake significant renovations of the gallery.

Through a series of additive processes, in Imaging made collage works including photographs they shot with disposable cameras, found negatives and using scanners as active image building tools. see more

Professor Alisha Wormsley

Students combine documentary and narrative techniques with fantastical detours into the imaginary in works that explore hidden histories, marginalized narratives, and the act of performing itself. see more

Gestural Games Toolkit Showcase
