We appreciate you and your dedication to making the world a better place. Thank you for inspiring students to learn and grow!

Each year, the state superintendent nominates schools, districts, or early learning centers for the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon award that honors schools, districts and higher education institutions that strive for 21st-century excellence by highlighting school sustainability practices. These practices reduce environmental impact and costs; improve the health and wellness of schools, students, and staff; and provide effective environmental and sustainability education.

Congratulations to:

  • Indian Community School, Franklin
  • Lincoln Avenue Elementary, Milwaukee
