Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:

Greetings from our home in Florida where we have had several weeks of low humidity, mildly warm days, and some of the most beautiful blue skies we have seen in a long time.  These last two months have been quite different for us, and as of now, this is the longest stretch of time that we have been home and off the “revival trail” in well over 20 years. We did have revivals scheduled in Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Michigan that all had to cancel due to the Covid-19 situation. Nicholas was scheduled to be in the Philippines this month and Micah was scheduled to be in India.  Both of those trips are on hold as well.

We have stayed busy with a variety of projects.  We have done maintenance on our RV (she is officially 20 years old now) as well as taken care of some hefty projects around the house.  We have also been diligently working on the new “Keeping it Young” podcast and as soon as Apple approves our submission it will be going LIVE!  We can’t wait to hear what you think?  Bethlie and I are doing each podcast together and are focused on marriage, family, and ministry life.  We have also been preaching some online services and helping our home church as much as we can.

Of course, we have also been staying on target with our homeschool and “home-college” too.  Jake is finishing soon and will be entering his senior year!  Charity will be entering junior high and the youth group.  Matthew just finished up his online work at West Coast Baptist and is officially a college junior.  Where has the time gone???

Thank you so much for all of the prayers, notes, and calls during these days. We have been incredibly overwhelmed by your kindness and thoughtfulness and are so grateful to have so many amazing friends.  Thank you also for your faithful support and for your extra giving these past few weeks.  As of today, all of our bills are paid and we haven’t missed any meals at all.  We are amazingly blessed by your giving and by the goodness of our God.

Please do continue to pray for us.  We are hoping to get back to revival and evangelistic work very, very soon.

I have recently been reading through Daniel and have been very encouraged by the reminders found in that book. It really is worth it to do right and to serve God.  It isn’t worth it at all to do wrong and live ungodly lives  God really is actively blessing His people and simultaneously working in the hearts of those who don’t even believe in Him.  And He has a plan in action regarding the affairs of our world! Read it if you can.  I think you will be encouraged too.

We love you.  Please text or email us and let us know how we can pray for you. We would be glad to do so.

Your sincere friend,

Dave Young (and the entire DYEA Team)
