Even in these difficult times, we’re encouraged by the community that surrounds us, especially because you are a part of it. Together, our community can deliver on COVID-19 increased needs and grow our impact together.
Today is Giving Tuesday NOW, a national day of generosity. It’s a day when you can positively impact precious children like the sweet girl pictured here. I met her in a village where we were holding a medical clinic and handing out food to the families. She was one of many kids living in a bamboo thatched dwelling where over 30 family members were living. She was shy because of her permanently scared arm from falling into an open fire where they cook what little food they have everyday. The saying on her shirt really struck me, "MAKE THE WORLD AMAZING!" It struck me because that is exactly what we are trying to do! Our desire is to be able to help enable her to break the bonds of extreme generational poverty and for her to go out and MAKE HER WORLD AMAZING!
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help us respond to the unprecedented need caused by the coronavirus and to enable this girl and many like her to have an amazing future, one filled with hope.
