COVID- 19 Versus Cambodia

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?...For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present not things to come, not powers, nor height not depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:35-39)

Our goal remains the same: To see the people of Cambodia know Jesus. Typically we work towards this goal by running English and training schools, evangelizing, building relationships, and more. However, in this season we have quickly adapted, jumped into action, and began a food distribution program. Our program has gained national attention and is now a model used across the nation.

Providing Rice to 800 Families

Over the past 4 weeks, we have been able to provide a one-month food supply to almost 400 families - halfway to our 800 family goal.

Each family receives:
-25kg of rice (55lbs)
-10 cans of canned fish (a Cambodian favorite)
-1 case of noodles

Through partnering with the local heads of villages, we are able to ensure we are reaching those most in need during this time.

Many families have been over-whelmed with love through this program.
The relationships we are building through this program are imperative. By sharing the love of Jesus through a simple bag of rice, noodles and canned goods, a door is being opened into their lives. This open door will eventually allow us to share the Love of Jesus in powerful ways in the future. We are expectant to see a revival after COVID-19 ends through the relationships being built during this time.

How you can partner with what we are doing in Cambodia:

1) Pray - While our team is made up of young, healthy men and women, we have to rely on God for strength and safety during this time.
2) Finances - To continue working in Cambodia, I have to raise support to cover all living expenses (rent, food, travel, health insurance, etc...). I am currently $400 under my monthly goal. Would you consider partnering with me monthly to help me reach my goal? Any amount greatly helps during this time!
