These are testing times for all of us around the world. At NIRMAN, we too are facing the pressures of the global pandemic. Before the school year could officially end, our kids were forced into an early holiday, mid exams. While they adjust to new ways of living and learning, our teachers have been working tirelessly to provide them with educational and emotional support over phone. Coming from economically strained families, returning to school might prove difficult for more than a 100 children who study at NIRMAN. The urgency of our cause could not be underlined more.

We’re participating in a new global day of giving and unity that’s happening – in addition to the regularly scheduled day coming up later in the year on December 1 – as an emergency response to the need caused by COVID-19. It’s a day organized around the belief that generosity has the power to unite and heal communities in good times and bad, and that now is an opportunity to come together as a global community. We couldn’t agree more.
