TIDBITS OF HAPPENINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

SUNDAY, MAY 24
BACK AT LIFEBRIDGE IN PERSON!

Mark your calendars!
On Sunday, May 24, 2020, we plan to be back LIVE and IN PERSON in worship at LifeBridge!
The Leadership has met to discuss the many benefits and challenges associated with meeting back in-person as well as all the preparations needed to ensure that we do so in a good, safe, orderly, and godly fashion. They will be meeting weekly to stay on top of this list as well as up-to-date developments prior to that date.
We understand that some would like for us to begin this weekend. Others believe we should wait longer. We feel this date gives us the time needed to properly prepare to the best of our ability.
Currently, the following reflects our current decisions as we move forward:
  1. We will begin in-person worship on Sunday, May 24.
  2. Holy Communion will have pre-packaged and wrapped individual bread and wine containers to be shared by the pastor or elder, who will be masked and gloved.
  3. Families sit together, but there will be spaces between their seats and those of other attendees.
  4. No Sunday Bible class.
  5. No Children's Church.
  6. No nursery.
  7. Children sit with their families during worship.
  8. No Fellowship Time before worship.
  9. No Greeting Time during worship.
  10. Social distancing practices will be used.
  11. Sanitation of facilities will take place on Saturday evening and Sunday after worship.
  12. We will attempt to also stream live but, even if we can't, the service will be recorded and posted online later the same day.
  13. No worship folder and minimal use of other items that are touched.
  14. The café and youth room will be closed. All will enter and exit through the sanctuary entrance, while keeping social-distancing guidelines.
We know this doesn't answer all questions and are weekly meeting to continue our preparations toward May 24, even as we stay up-to-date on latest developments and update accordingly.
We are greatly looking forward to being with you IN-PERSON again!
Until then, remain in Jesus, grow in your faith, and stay safe!

We're in our new, “God’s Promises,” covering the topics:

  • Patience/Endurance
  • Hope

These are all pertinent to the strange and challenging times in which we currently find ourselves.

Join us online to watch on our YouTube channel (YouTube.com/user/LifeBridgeSealy/) at 10AM on Sundays or later on the website (lifebridgesealy.com/worship).

You can also usually catch our Sunday morning adult Bible class on Facebook Live at 8:30AM. (Also available on the website and YouTube.)

Join us - online!

This past Sunday, LifeBridge Children’s Ministry had family snow-cone day! Families were treated to free snow-cones, and a bag of food was sent home for dinner courtesy of LB Elders. The kids loved seeing each other, and I think the parents did as well (social distancing of course)!

There will be NO BIBLE CLASS for this Sunday, May 10 2020.
For next week, Sunday, May 17, 2020, we will cover the apocryphal book of Susanna!

HELP US HELP
During these uncertain times, it is important to stay in contact with each other; to listen, pray, and provide.

Many in our LifeBridge and Sealy community are hurting. Many of you are hurting.

Many can help. Many of you can help.

We want to touch base with you and see how we can help and pray for and with you during these challenging times.

We, the Leaders of LifeBridge, want you to know we are here for you, whatever your needs are. Our names and email addresses are at lifebridgesealy.com/about/leadership/. Make use of us - about anything. We're in this with you. We're in this for you.

Thank you and God bless.

It should come as no surprise (though still disappointing) that LifeBridge Community Church must cancel, postpone, or move activities and events online until further notice.

We have done this prayerfully and while consulting health, governmental, and church leaders.

While we are disappointed, we know that God is still on the Throne and will use this for good. That’s what He does – redeems people and situations!

This means that all activities which are not either postponed or cancelled will take place in an online fashion.
Check the LifeBridgeSealy.com and our Facebook page (@LifeBridgeSealy) for the most up-to-date information.
Thank you.

If you can't give during this challenging time, we understand.
If you can, however, please do so that we can continue our ministries and help those who are struggling.
Your help means we can continue to help.

Would you like to make a donation to the Sealy Christian Food Pantry?

Here's some information:

There have been many inquires from individuals wanting to know how can they help the pantry during COVID -19. The best answer is monetary donations to purchase staples for the pantry. We are asking that no one go to the store and purchase items for several reasons:
  1. Most items at the grocery store are limited on the number you can purchase.
  2. All items purchased require someone at the pantry to wipe them down.
  3. Any items donated from an individual's home also require someone at the pantry to wipe the items before putting on the shelf.
Monetary donations can be given on line through Paypal on our Facebook Page or mail to one of the following:

530 6th Street
Sealy, Texas 77474
P. O. Box 162
Sealy, Texas 77474

Thank you!
What are you watching while you're home so much? Is it uplifting? Does it help grow your faith? Does it give God glory?

All who call LifeBridge home can have access to a huge amount of great, godly content, playable through your phone, Roku, AppleTV, and many other devices.
