Officials Certification - Online Development Program Coming Soon!
Officials are an important part of the BC Athletics membership and play a pivotal role in maintaining the rules of play in all Athletics events (Track & Field, Road and Cross Country Running). Being an Official is a fun and engaging way to be involved in the atmosphere and excitement of Athletics events. Officials, and those interested in becoming officials, are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Official Training and Certification pathway.
BC Athletics is working with Athletics Canada to complete an on-line training and development program for New Officials as well as professional development events for Trained and Certified Officials. Roll-out of the program is anticipated soon. More information will be provided through the BC Athletics Record Newsletter and on the BC Athletics website – Officials.
