DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENTS
May 6, 2020
Our team is looking for local companies and individuals making and selling personal protective equipment, including masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. As downtown businesses plan for executive orders to lift and businesses to begin opening, being intentional in safety of employees and customers is a top priority.

We are compiling a list of resources for downtown businesses as they prepare for their business to reopen in the near future. If you are a local company or individual who makes personal protective equipment, send us an email with your information and how to purchase.

Share your story

It's ingrained in human nature to tell stories - they inspire us, provoke thought and teach us. Our downtown is a collection of stories - which is why we will be telling the stories of our downtown businesses as they face the realities of the pandemic on their lives and bottom lines.

More than ever, downtown businesses need the community to rally around them - so we want to know: How have you supported downtown businesses during this pandemic? Have you ordered takeout, purchased a gift card, given an extra big tip or something else entirely?

You are part of the story - share how you are supporting downtown businesses by using #wearedowntownkzoo on social media or email us your story directly.

Our team recognizes the impact COVID-19 is having and will continue to have on our community. Please follow CDC recommendations to protect yourself and others while we work together to get through this time. Stay safe, stay healthy.
