Were you financially impacted by COVID -19?

The Center for Art, Tradition and Cultural Heritage, a consortium including City Lore, the Center for Traditional Music and Dance, Bronx Music Heritage Center, Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center, Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders, Caribbean Cultural Center African Disapora Institute, and the Folk Arts Program of the Brooklyn Arts Council is awarding grants of $500 to folk, traditional and community-based artists impacted by COVID-19. 

The Folk Artists Relief Fund is designed to offer rapid short-term payments to individuals and small groups of folk and traditional artists who have lost income as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  It will be open to artists in all forms of traditional art and music. It will be designed to cover losses resulting from cancelled concerts, performances, exhibitions and other events. 

Decisions will be made by a committee comprised of our Relief Fund Partners.
