The Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling Center is working with city health officials to plan re-entry. These plans will remain fluid until we have identified a reopening date for the center. As soon as we know, we'll let you know. Stay tuned.

Grant Opportunity
I hope this email continues to find everyone safe, sheltered in place, stocked with toilet paper, and healthy during these unprecedented times.
As the SCSF Board continues to monitor the recommendations set forth by the CDC for returning to the ice, we want to remind our community of a grant opportunity that provides supplemental financial support to SCSF Home Club applicants.
The Hickox Memorial Fund Grant is open to coaches, skaters, and officials who have been SCSF Home Club members for at least three years from the date of the grant application. Additional details around the grant and the grant application can be found here: https://scsf.org/grant-policy/.

2020 SCSF Board Elections
Dear Members,
In preparation for our upcoming annual election, we have convened the SCSF Nominating Committee. This year’s committee consists of the Chair of the committee, Don Corbiell, along with Jessica Gaynor and Jean Teng, our club President and Vice President, respectively.
In the next two months we will be accepting candidates to run for one of the three open Board of Director positions. The Board of Director position terms are for two years beginning September 2020 through August 2022. If you are interested, or if you know of someone who may be, please contact any one of the three of us.
Watch for more information coming your way in the next few weeks through our newsletter, or through Entryeeze. And, as always, never be afraid to let us know what you’re thinking or of any new ideas you may have. We would love to hear from you!

Club free skate ice at Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling Center (YBISBC) is canceled for the remainder of the 2020 skating season (through May 2020).

Club free skate ice at YBISBC will not resume for the 2020-2021 skating season beginning July 1, 2020 through May 2021.

Club test sessions are canceled until local and state health care leadership reverses the stay-in-place recommendation and rinks open their doors. When club test sessions resume, they will be two hours and take place the first Saturday of every month at YBISBC.
