Dear HOSA Leaders,
It is officially the month of May, which means we are closer to the Virtual International Leadership Conference that will be taking place June 24th-27th in the comfort and safety of our homes. Conference registration is available now. Advisors can register their chapter through the HOSA Conference Management System (CMS), the same way to register for Regionals and State. Competitors also have the option to register themselves individually due to these unique times. In this case, we ask that students confirm with their advisor and/or school that they are allowed to compete, for some schools have different rules regarding events at this time. This video explains the two registration processes.
Michigan HOSA ILC registration deadline is May 15th. The National HOSA deadline is May 22nd, but we ask our members to complete registration by May 15th so we can validate all registrations and make any changes before the National deadline. Please remind competitors that materials must be uploaded to Tallo and Wufoo by June 1st. Don't delay, start today!
It is very important for advisors to continually update the 2020 ILC Bump spreadsheet which is a Google Doc available to advisors only. This spreadsheet lists the finalists from SLC in each competitive event. We ask advisors to indicate whether or not their finalist is planning on "attending" ILC. If they are not, this is how we all know if the next place is "bumped." Please fill this out ASAP so others who are waiting can register.
