Don’t just hang art, wear it!

May 6, 2020 San Diego, CA—Mingei International Museum introduces a new form of art to Animal Crossing: New Horizons—clothing! Animal Crossing players can now choose from a selection of jackets and dresses inspired by clothing from the Museum’s collection. The clothing was created by Mingei's Graphic Designer, Elizabeth Martinez. Martinez is an avid fan of Animal Crossing and pursued the idea of contributing to the game saying, “I wanted to design clothing from the Museum's collection because I thought sharing these works could provide a different perspective on museum objects”.
