Hello Friend, thank you for praying. We cannot do what we do, and go where we go, without your prayers!

PAOC General Conference

PRAISE God for answered prayer. We are grateful to the Lord for a wonderful General Conference on Tuesday. We rejoice that there were no technical difficulties and that the number of attendees exceeded our expectations. There was a wonderful sense of the presence of the Lord throughout the day; especially during communion. We are grateful for the re-election of Rev. David Wells as our General Superintendent; please continue to keep he and Sue in prayer as they enter this next four-year term.

"Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:5-7 (NIV)

Markus & Liz Brandt
Germany

PRAY for Markus and LIz as things in Germany begin to open up following COVID. They lead the ministry at Da Kanada Haus in Bad Brueckenau, the base of the PAOC Eurasia Region. As the country re-opens, pray that Markus and Liz will have even more opportunity to share Christ. Markus continues to have wonderful opportunities to minister in churches and they are looking forward to hosting teams and camps at Da Kanada Haus.

Bob & Doris Skinner

PRAY for Doris Skinner and their family as they grieve the loss of Bob. He passed into the presence of the Lord on Monday, May 4 in Cobourg, Ontario. Robert and Doris would have celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary on May 5, 2020. They have served Western Ontario District and the PAOC as Missionaries, Pastors, and as the Editor of The Testimony. Bob is the father of Rev. Gary (Marilyn) Skinner, Rev. Dean (Wendy) Skinner, Sharon Hudson, and Linda Duncalfe. A private funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Skinner Family.
PRAISE God for the progress being made on this beautiful church building in Nyasirori, Tanzania. Although construction was slowed a bit because of COVID, the Tanzanian government decided to spare places of worship from lock down; only enforcing strict hygiene and social distancing measures. We are thankful that construction is far enough along that the church is usable and people were able to worship. We are grateful to a Canadian family, a couple of Canadian churches, and International Missions for providing financial support for this project. Also a big thank you to Dr Agrey- the new principal for the Bible college and Rev Gilliard - the academic dean and also a member of our PAOC Mission board, for their splendid and faithful service in overseeing this project amidst their very busy schedules. Because of their strong leadership and stewardship, we have managed to remain on budget.
